Privacy notice
Effective 15 July 2026. This notice describes the processing implemented by this Mudrika deployment.
Data stored
Mudrika stores your account details, transactions, categories, budgets, savings goals, recurring entries, lending records, notification subscriptions, and settings in the configured MongoDB database.
AI processing is optional
AI features are disabled until you grant consent in Settings. When enabled, transaction descriptions, category names, financial summaries, or extracted bank-statement text may be sent to OpenRouter or to OpenAI using your configured API key. PDF passwords are used only by the Mudrika server to open the document and are not included in the AI prompt.
Private CSV import
CSV parsing happens in your browser. Only the transactions you review and confirm are sent to Mudrika for storage; the source CSV file is not sent to an AI provider.
Browser storage
Pending offline transactions are stored under an account-specific browser key. Personalized pages and API responses are not written to the service-worker cache, and private browser data is cleared during sign-out.
Your controls
Settings lets you disable AI processing, download a complete JSON export, change your password, and permanently delete a non-administrator account and its associated records.
Operational services
The deployment uses Vercel for hosting, MongoDB for storage, Resend when configured for account email, and browser push services when you explicitly enable notifications.
